The Hartford Area Chamber is excited that you have decided to put together a project that will make a positive impact in the Hartford Area! We appreciate your generous contributions to the community and the Chamber would like to help you get your project started.
Complete the information below. Under the project description tell us about the project, how it will fulfill an unmet need in the community, how it will impact those living in the Hartford area, who will be involved, and how will you organize the project from start to finish. Then under the Seed Money section tell us how you will use the seed money from the Chamber to assist you in getting the project started.
Successful applicants should be able to answer the following questions:
Will the grant positively impact the business community of Hartford?
Does the project promote the City?
Does the project draw people to the area?
Will the project grow our economy?
How will the grant impact the project?
Will the grant provide adequate funding so that the project moves forward successfully?
During each round, up to $500 will be granted out. Meaning, that the $500 could be split up among the different applicants. Please remember that as you fill out your seed request.
Once you have completed this form, press submit, or print and submit to Amy M. Farr via email amy.farr@hartfordsd.us or by delivering to the City Hall. You must be a current Chamber member to apply. Grant applications will be reviewed and voted on during the June, September and December Chamber board meetings. This means the grant application must be completed by June 1st, September 1st or December 1st.
